You're nothing to me

In sorrow's grip, I stand this day,

My heart ablaze, emotions in disarray.

Unbearable pain, a weight I bear,

As words of love once whispered, now declare:

"You're nothing to me," echoed through the air,

A loved one's voice, a painful affair.

Oh, the years we shared, a fleeting dream,

Oh, the memories cherished, now they seem

To fade like stars at dawn's first light,

Everything once bright, now taken by the night.

Left here alone, burden to bear,

Carrying memories, a heavy wear and tear.

Yet still, I rise, the flame still aglow,

Though love's departure dealt a heavy blow.

With strength within, I'll find my way,

Through darkness to dawn, a brand-new day.
